Orkney Heart Support Group

A group for people who have had heart problems and their families.

The purpose of the group is:

  • To offer mutual support to other people with heart problems.

  • To offer support to heart patients recently discharged from hospital.

  • To arrange social events and leisure activities.

  • To keep abreast with current thinking on after-care.

  • To help maintain contact with health professionals.

  • To provide help and information on local exercise and rehabilitation programmes.

  • To represent the needs of local heart patients

The group meets at the British Legion in Kirkwall at 7.30pm on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. If you are interested in joining the group or would like more information please contact:
